Rawdon Model Boat Club (Sorry but currently Rawdon MBC do not have a website)
Rawdon Model Boat Club is based at Larkfield Tarn on the northwest outskirts of Leeds, [LS19 6DZ]. The main club sailing days are Wednesday and Sunday with the new IOM group usually meeting on Tuesday and Thursday but members have access to our five acre lake seven days a week. The refurbished clubhouse has toilet and kitchen facilities with car parking adjacent to the lake. All forms of model boating are catered for with the exception of i.c. powered models.
Kirklees Model Boat Club promote the hobby of model building and sailing, we meet as a club every Sunday Morning on the Park Lake, Wilton Park, Bradford Road, Birstall, Batley. West Yorkshire. The area is a public park, whereby members of the public can also sail any-time they wish. We meet about 8am in the morning on Sundays and about 1pm on Wednesdays.
You will see us there all year round come rain or shine. Members have been known to 'break the ice' during winter in order to sail. Always a warm drink available every Sunday Morning. We also have a Lock up container which houses all the club equipment and rescue boats
To find us, from the M62 Junction 27, follow the signs for A62 Huddersfield, to the junction with Bradford Road, about 1 mile, turn left at the traffic lights following the sign for Dewsbury, approximately 1 mile from the traffic lights, on the left is Wilton Park, Bradford Road, Batley.

We sail at the Heath Lake, Park Road, Runcorn, Wednesday and Sunday afternoons. Weather permitting! Our Group meetings are held at the Grangeway Community Centre, Runcorn, on the 2nd Thursday of each Month, at 7:30 to 9:30pm.
Burton & District Model Boat Club provide facilities and support for most types of boat modellers, static, scale, yachting, etc. Our sailing water at Branston is not suitable for straight running, and we try to limit high speed IC boats to a few special events in the year, as the water is also a nature reserve.
Burton & District Model Boat Club meet at the Woodville Snooker Club on the first Wednesday of every month. We assemble for 7:30pm and the meetings start at 8pm.
Members build and sail all types of Model Boats including Steam, Electric, Power Boats, Yachts and Scale Models, and also take part in events all around the Country. Many Club events and shows are undertaken throughout the year and all members are invited to take part in them. A Quarterly newsletter is also distributed to all members.
The Association of Model Submariners was formed in 1982 by Roger Serpell, in order to bring together British submarine modelling enthusiasts to pool their resources, information and experiences.
Welcome to the Manx Model Boat Club and our hobby of Model Boating. The club was formed in the Isle of Man in 1985 by a small number of enthusiasts and now more than 25 years on it has approximately 50 members. Our membership are interested in all aspects of Model Boating from Scale Models, Speed Boats, Submarines and Yachts to building static historical models and even ships in bottles!.
We consider the Winter to be the building season with many of our members actively involved with building new models ready for the sailing during the Summer, which usually starts at Easter and runs through until October. During the summer season we organise numerous events for the scale boats, usually on a monthly basis. The club also displays its boats at exhibitions and holds demonstration events in aid of local charities.
Our main event during the summer season is Mannanan. This is a 2 day model boating event which attracts modellers from most parts of the UK as well as local modellers. The first day of the event is a steering competition followed by a Tug Towing competition and then on the second day we have an 'On the Water' competition followed by a Static Scale Competition, Tfinishing off with a fun competition. The event finishes with an evening meal and prize presentation.
We are based at Walton Hall Park boating lake, off Waltonhall Avenue, Liverpool.
We sail on Wednesday and Sunday afternoons between 12 noon and 4.30 pm.

We probably have the best boating lake in the country with "members only" access to the boathouse landing stage.
Facilities in the Park include a cafe, toilets and parking area.
The Hoylake Model Boat Club endeavours to bring together members for the purpose of exchanging ideas and opinions on subjects connected with the designing,constructing, testing and sailing of model boats. We are a friendly fun club and welcome all new members
Our main sailing venue is the Model Boating Lake behind the Civic Centre, Abergele Road, Colwyn Bay. This lake is open from March to November seven days a week, but the Club normally meets here on Sundays from 10.30a.m. The larger boating lake in Eirias Park, Colwyn Bay is available to us all year round..
Colwyn Bay Model Boat Club also meets at Colwyn Sea Sports, 95 the Promenade, Rhos-on-Sea, Colwyn Bay, North Wales on the first Friday of the month at 7.30p.m. where we have speakers and film shows, or evenings devoted to Model Building.
Our boats include yachts, warships, including destroyers, corvettes, battleships, MTB's, aircraft carriers and submarines. There are also tugs, fishing vessels, square riggers, Clyde steamers, paddle boats, fire launches, police boats, air-sea rescue boats, lifeboats, pleasure cruisers and fast electrics. Plenty of choice!
Every Wednesday evening (7.15pm - 9.30pm) members meet in the clubhouse for tea, coffee and biscuits. Much discussion takes place about how to build various models and how to improve one's building techniques. A great place to learn from the experience of others and pass on any tips you may have! A library of old Model Boating magazines is kept for reference.
Recently formed group (January 2010) that design, build and operate all disciplines of
Air, Water, Land Radio Controlled Models.
Scottish Model Warship Association
The Scottish Model Warship Association was formed in 2008 by a bunch of guy`s who`s aim is to promote the building, sailing and displaying of model warships.
Their intention is to mainly hold activities within Scotland, but have crossed the border on numerous occasionsl to visit shows hosted in the NorthWest, where they like to meet up with forum members visiting these shows.
We are intending to start an archive of plans, from which members of the association can have access, also a list of ships(completed and under construction)which could also be used as reference for other builders.

We play boats on Fairhaven Lake, Lytham St Annes, adjacent to the St Pauls Ave Car Park.
Evening sailing (when the P&D car park is not charged, Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday evenings, from 6PM to dusk, weather permitting.
Occasional "Sunday Funday" afternoon sessions which are very informal regattas.
Mostly scale, but with an interest in sail and some FE. A group of Laser sailers is showing some interest in sailing at the lake. Guests and visitors welcome.
The lake is salt, wade-able with courage, chest waders and a big stick

Bury Metro Marine Modelling Society Bury Metro Marine Modelling Society is a friendly and active club, although members can sail 7 days a week, the club house is open on Sunday and Wednesdays from 9am till 2pm where refreshments are available from the kitchen. The club house also has two toilets for members and guests. Sometimes the clubhouse is open on other days but not normally Thursdays and Saturdays.
